Avery Dennison Elastic Staple®
This tool is perfect for businesses that are looking to elevate their brand through innovative solutions that enable designers, improve manufacturing quality and efficiency, and increase consumer appeal and perceived value. The Avery Dennison Elastic Staple® System provides environmentally conscious retailers, brand owners and consumers with a solution that reduces packaging waste for a wide variety of products. Faster to apply and safer to remove than conventional competitive solutions, the Elastic Staple™ is a discreet, flexible strap that securely holds or positions a product on a backing card or within a package.
Weighing in at less than 0.002 ounces, the Elastic Staple can reduce the total packaging weight up to 99% when compared with many conventional packaging methods. Products stay neat and secure while allowing consumers to see, feel and touch the products prior to purchasing. Secure, yet convenient removal allows customers to more fully enjoy their purchase.
See for yourself in this recently published case study how Texpak worked with one of our customers to integrate the Elastic Staple System to cut waste, improve product appeal and save money: Consumer Goods packaging solutions.
Reduces packaging waste and improves productivity when compared with other conventional packaging technologies, such as clam shells, blisters, skin packs, twist ties, cable ties and tapes. The system securely fastens items such as housewares, toys and hardware to backing cards, improving customer interaction with the product. The pneumatically- driven IndES can operate as a standalone unit or integrated into an automatic packaging line.
The IndES unit can apply a fastener in less than 0.5 seconds. Its high-speed capability improves packaging throughput significantly over more manual methods of packaging, and can be easily integrated into automation systems for even greater productivity.
Pneumatically driven and is ideal for bundling bulky materials or multiple layers in a single operation. The elasticity of the staple and a needle with an effective length of 3 inches makes this a preferred solution for neatly and securely packaging items such as socks, towels and mats.
An industry standard, the Avery Dennison Plastic Staple® ST9500™ System was first introduced over 20 years ago as a model of innovation and quality. The Plastic Staple® ST9500™, with its unprecedented speed and application flexibility, alongside significant cost efficiency, make it a must for manufacturers looking to respond to the needs of increasingly demanding retailers and customers. Plastic Staple has always been an ideal solution for tagging trousers, jackets and lingerie; creating washing effects, like whiskers, in jeans; and pairing socks.
Among the features that place the Plastic Staple® ST9500™ Fastener System securely ahead of the competition are:
- Cycle programmability (1,2,3…10, or continuous)
- Variable actuation speed adjustment
- Variable needle spacing (Range 8mm – 12mm)
- Improved fastener strength
- Smart machine technology
- Power converter permits use in 120v or 220v
- 50% less power consumed
- No clutch or solenoid
- No-adjust feed system
Now you can dramatically cut the cost of your tagging operation and increase productivity with the ultra-fast and very affordable MAT® automatic tag attaching system.
Faster than manual tagging, the MAT® automatically feeds and attaches up to three different size and shape tags quickly and efficiently. Each hopper easily adjusts as tag dimensions change and tag feeders can be used together or separately depending on production requirements.
Texpak invented the MAT® machine and reacquired rights to the machine several years ago from Brother International. Because of this, we’ve been able to reduce the price of the MAT® machine, making it more attractive than ever.
The MAT® machine comes in three versions:
MAT® One Tagger
MAT® Two Tagger
Because there is nothing else like this out there on the market, we get a lot of questions about the MAT® machine. To view our Frequently Asked Questions, click here. If you would like to talk to one of our sales staff to see if a MAT® machine makes sense for your operations, contact us here.
